Eunice Mecaskey Roth, age 95, of Fort Walton Beach, FL, passed away January 10, 2020 at the Meridian at Westwood care facility. Eunice was born on March 11, 1924 in Kansas City, Missouri to Henry Neil Mecasky, Sr. and Eunice Whiteside Mecaskey. Eunice worked in real estate for many years. She saw a need for accessibility of real estate information and founded Public Record Reports, which she ran until retirement. In 1950, she married Charles Roth. She and Chuck were married for more than 50 years. After she retired, she and Chuck traveled the world. She learned to play golf and took several golf related trips as well. Eunice was a PEO sorority sister and she always enjoyed their activities. Eunice was also an amazing seamstress. Reading was another hobby that she loved as well. Most of all, she was a loving and generous mother and nana.
Eunice was preceded in death by both parents; brother, H. Neil Mecaskey, Jr.; and husband, Charles William Roth. She is survived by her sons, Gregory Roth and Jeffery Roth and his wife, Mitzi; and grandchildren, Jessica Roth Hultquist and her husband, Mike, and Michael Clark Roth and his fiancé, Haley Hill.
A time to visit the family will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 14, 2020 followed by a memorial service at 1:00 p.m. at Davis- Watkins Funeral Home Fort Walton Beach.
