Elizabeth Lynett Adams

After a long illness, Elizabeth Lynett Adams, 82, joined her beloved husband, Sam; her parents, Asbury and Esther; her dear sister, Mary; and her brothers, Arnold, Hart, Lavon and Bobby, in heaven on October 6, 2018.

Her children, Annette (Steve), Bruce (Tammy), Nicole (Pete); her grandchildren, Heather, Leigh, Tiffany, Justin, Brandon (Morgan), Kelee; and her great-grandchildren, Helen and Nicholas will miss her but always keep her in their hearts. Her brothers, Bill (Zelda), Lamar (Rosalyn), Ronnie (Barbara); her brother-in-laws, William and Joe (Zora), her sister-in-laws, Elizabeth, Jeanette, Pat, Betty, Donna and Jacque; and her nieces and nephews will always remember her.

Even though she enjoyed her many years working at Wal-Mart, her true calling in life was cooking her family’s favorite foods.

A celebration of life service will be held on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Davis-Watkins Funeral Home, 113 NE Racetrack Road, Fort Walton Beach, FL 32547.  A private graveside service will be held following the service at Beal Memorial Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to a charity of your choice in Mrs. Adam’s memory.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to the wonderful staff of Emerald Coast Hospice, Home Instead and the Hawthorn House, for their excellent care given to our mother.
