Dorothy “Dottie” Bradshaw, a resident of Ft. Walton Beach, Florida since 1963, passed away peacefully Monday, February 12, 2018. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and a caring friend to many. She shared her love of life, wisdom, and laughter to all the lives she touched. Dottie was a devoted employee with Butler’s Florist in Ft. Walton for 25 years. After retiring, she loved spending time outdoors. She devoted a lot of time and energy to her yard, which was her pride and joy.
Dottie is survived by one daughter, Marcia Bradshaw Destin; one son, Dwight Bradshaw and wife Angie of Defuniak Springs, Florida; four grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren.
The family would like to thank all the doctors, nurses, and caregivers, especially Courtney Barrett for the loving care given to Dottie during her illness. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 2, 2018 at the Church of Christ, 232 Hollywood Blvd SE, Ft. Walton Beach, Florida 32548, from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Following with her wishes, her cremains will be placed at the Glendale Memorial Nature Preserve, 297 Railroad Avenue 32433 in DeFuniak Springs, Florida.
