Cora Lee Infinger, known to family and friends as “Friz”, age 85, passed away Saturday, November 23, 2019. She entered into life and death, both in the community of Bruce, Florida. Cora was born January 6, 1934 to Buster and Florence Morrison. “Friz” was commonly found frying chicken and washing dishes at the Bruce Café or she could be found sitting on a milk crate over her favorite fishing hole. She was loved by many.
She is preceded in death by both parents; husband, HC Infinger; siblings, John Robert Ward, Georgia Ann Smith, and Genia Ray Ward.
Cora is survived by her sister, Lillie Mae Miller; brother Alfred Lewis Ward and wife Barbara; niece, Lawana Dollar and husband Jason; nephew, William Dollar; nephew, Justin Ward and wife Kim and their daughter Lillie; niece, Michelle Thomaston and husband Tony and children, Brittany, Andy, Ceanna, and Tracker; nephew, Tony Burnham and children Shine and Jasmine; sister-in-law, Millie Bell Harris; niece, Tammy Ward, and children Michael Wayne, Nick, and Dillon; brother-in-law, Richard Smith; niece, Rickie Lynn Smith-Wall and husband Jeff; nephew, Halton Smith and children, Brendon and Lindsey; and “the favorite”, Linda Burnham.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 27, 2019 beginning at 11:00 a.m. at New Beginnings Church, 1564 FL-20, Freeport, Florida 32439 with Pastor Louis Taunton officiating. A time of visitation will be held one hour prior. Committal services will follow in Dead River Cemetery.
