Charles Schwinn Obituary

Charles James Schwinn, 91, of Mary Esther, Florida passed away on September 1, 2018 in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. Chuck was born on April 1, 1927, in Ann Arbor, MI to the late Charles William and Lucille Bishop Schwinn. He attended Triadelphia High School and served his country during WWII in the United States Navy. Chuck was a specialist in the body and fender repair business. He and Ruth lived in Wheeling, WV until they moved to Florida in 1993. Chuck loved all outdoor activities including golfing, fishing, hunting and gardening to name a few that he enjoyed thoroughly.

Chuck is survived by his son and daughter in law, Dick and Luann Schwinn; granddaughter, Nicole Schwinn; grandson, Ryan Schwinn and his wife, Stephanie Schwinn; great grandson, Charles Leo Schwinn; sister, Jeanetta O’Leary; and other family members and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and his loving wife, Ruth Ann Poe Schwinn.

A private service will be held at a later date in Greenwood Cemetery, Wheeling, West Virginia.
