Carl Wayne Clark

August 27, 1943 – December 7, 2018

Carl Wayne Clark, age 75, of Destin, Florida passed away on December 7, 2018.  Wayne was born on August 27, 1943 in Montgomery, AL to Carl and Louise “Granny” Clark.  As a young man, Wayne served in the US Army and Merchant Marines.  He later received his college degree in Business Management from Troy University.  Throughout his life he found passion in spending time with his many friends and family, travel, music, beach, real estate and real estate development.    

He is survived by his two sons, Jason Clark (Adrienne) of Destin, FL, and Matt Clark (Amber) of Kansas City, MO; granddaughter, Ava Clark; and grandson, Dylan Clark of Destin, FL; his sister, Carolyn Goodson of Destin, FL; sister, Beverly Grisham of Andalusia, AL; brother, Cliff Clark (Tony Garza) of Montgomery, AL; nephew, Carl Goodson of Destin, FL; nephew, Larry Goodson of Destin, FL; niece, Cathy Ortiz (Oscar) of Atlanta, GA; nephew, Mark Goodson of Key West, FL; and niece, Katie Perkins (Tommy) of Anniston, AL.  He is preceded in death by his father and mother.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 13th at Faith Assembly Christian Church, 306 S. Geronimo St., Miramar Beach, FL at 1:00 p.m.  A Celebration of Life service will begin at 2:00 p.m.  Following the ceremony, an informal Sunset Farewell will be held at the Boathouse Oyster Bar on the Destin Harbor for those that would like to attend.
