Billy Allen Obituary

Billy Roger Allen, age 75, of DeFuniak Springs, Florida passed away Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at his residence.  He was born March 2, 1944 in Shamrock, Florida. 

Billy is preceded in death by his parents, Earl Allen Sr. and Mamie Malone; brother, E.J. Allen, Jr., sister, Margie Schofield, and son, Tony Allen.

He is survived by his loving wife, Virginia Anne Allen; one daughter, Vicki Davis and husband Lee of DeFuniak Springs, FL; three grandsons, Joshua Price and special friend Faith Eads of DeFuniak Springs, FL, Justin Nicholas Cook of Santa Rosa Beach, FL, and Ashley Davis of Orlando, FL; three sisters, Betty Jasiak of Fort Walton Beach, FL, Bonnie McNally of Jacksonville, FL, Wanda Bedami and husband Angelo of Tampa, FL; two brothers, Johnny Collins and wife Denise Collins of Tennessee and David Malone of Tampa, FL; two brothers-in-law, Ronnie Beasley and Earl Beasley and his wife Siobhan; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.  The family would like to extend their love to Vanissa Calhoun and Joy Holland for the care and support given to Billy.  Both ladies held a very special place in his heart.

A celebration of Billy’s life will be held Sunday, May 19, 2019 in the chapel of Davis-Watkins Funeral Home, 1474 Highway 83 North, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32433, beginning at 3 p.m. 

Arrangements and services are under the direction of Davis-Watkins Funeral Home and Crematory.
