Alyssa Nicole Effler

Alyssa Nicole Effler, age 30, of Ft. Walton Beach, Florida passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 4, 1988 in Omaha, Nebraska to Dawn and Terry Effler. 

Alyssa loved life, music, movies, salt water aquariums and the Walking Dead. She also had a special place in her heart for animals.  She was very compassionate and outspoken about things that meant a lot to her such as, health care for all and equal treatment for all people. Alyssa is survived by her parents, Dawn and Terry Effler; Grandmother, Ruth Laine; her two uncles Shawn and Bob Laine; and her longtime partner Charlie Allen.

Alyssa was a very caring and loving soul who had a wicked sense of humor and will be dearly missed by her numerous friends and family.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate her life at Davis-Watkins Funeral Home, 113 NE Racetrack Road, Fort Walton Beach, on Friday, March 15, 2019 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.  In lieu of flowers please make a donation in her name to the local animal shelter, diabetes foundation or mental health care.
