Alexandra Dawn Shaw, age 33, of DeFuniak Springs, Florida passed away Friday, March 8, 2019 at her residence. She was a cheerleader and a 2003 graduate of Walton High School. Alexandra was currently employed with Mark Harris Bail Bonds where she had been an employee for more than 7 years. Working with Mark and Grant Harris, as well as Alicia McMillian was a daily joy and considered them second family. When football season rolled around, Alexandra pulled for the New Orleans Saints and the LSU Tigers. Alexandra loved to read and could easily finish a book in one to two days.
She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Ronnie Hudson who is called “Pa-Chuckie.”
Alexandra is survived by two children, Hudson Glenn and Abigail Reese Fullwiler; parents David and Kim Shaw; father of the children, Brent Fullwiler; one brother, Dylan Shaw; paternal grandparents, A.D. and Sue Shaw; maternal grandmother, Jo Hudson; two uncles, Doug and Dean Shaw and wife Myra; one aunt, Tina Brazile and husband Mike; special friends, Joey and Dion Gatschet; and the many, many people she met through her line of work.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 14, 2019 at in the chapel of Davis-Watkins Funeral Home, 1474 Highway 83 North, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32433, beginning at 2 p.m. with Minister Joel Davis officiating. A time of visitation will he held one hour prior to the service. Committal services will follow at Glendale Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
