Biography

Mr. Adell Gauthier, age 83, went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 26, 2010 at Health Care Center of Destin with his family by his side. Mr. Gauthier was born on May 22, 1926 in Pilot Town, Louisiana. He was Pentecostal by faith and a member of the Freeport Pentecostal Church. Mr. Gauthier enjoyed spending time with his family and fishing. He was a tug boat deck hand and cook.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Gauthier and Sarah Nelson Gauthier; one sister, Louise; and one brother, Vernell.

Mr. Gauthier is survived by his wife of 36 years, Diane Gauthier and his beloved pet Casper.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 3, 2010 in the chapel of Davis-Watkins Funeral Home, 1474 Highway 83 North, DeFuniak Springs, FL 32433, beginning at 2 p.m. with Reverend Lloyd Cox and Brother Tom Berry officiating. A time of visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Hatcher Cemetery.
