Vernice Whitehead Bradley, age 89, of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, passed away on Thursday, March 21, 2024 in Destin, Florida. Vernice was born in Fort Walton Beach.
Vernice was a Christian and believed in the Lord. She loved antiques and had a little shop that sold Depression Glass. Vernice also worked at Westwood for many years and loved taking care of people. She had many hobbies such as gardening, cooking, going to flea markets and dancing to bluegrass music. Vernice also loved her Pomeranian, Cricket.
Vernice is survived by her three children, Ronald (Pam) Whitehead, Connie (Dorsey) Taylor, and Anita (Mark) Horn; grandchildren, Jerremy (Tracy) Whitehead, Jathan (Susanna) Whitehead, Mitzi Willingham, Courtney (Drew) Geiger, and Brandi Hill; and great grandchildren, Bret and Bradley Willingham, Destiney Gay, Alex Foster, Demarcus and Athena Callens, Raegan Geiger, Emma, Brooke, James, and Harley Whitehead.
A visitation will take place on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at Davis Watkins Funeral Home from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m., followed by a graveside service at 2:00 p.m. at Beal Memorial Cemetery.
